Why select Maritron?
Maritron's integrated monitoring system is reliable, expandable and very cost effective.

    Maritron uses a stand-alone industrial computer, the 400 ECM (electronic control module) that operates independently but can interface with any ship's computer. A 180-character display provides information, including alerts and diagnostics, from any of the modules within the system. Once in place, additional points can be added for the cost of the module with minimal labor.

    Multiple ECMs create manageable independent subsystems. Autonomous ECMs allow monitored points to be grouped together, i.e., engine systems, power, and tanks. Separate operating modules insure against a catastrophic system failure.

Program Logic 		    Program Logic is stored directly in the 400 ECM, the data is constantly available. If the ship's computer fails, the ECM will continue to monitor and control the ship's systems. If an individual module within the subsystem fails it is easily detected in the logic. An addressed replacement module will be automatically re-programmed by the 400 ECM.

    Maritron installs relay modules and input modules including simple switches, temperature sensors and tachometers that are mounted directly onto the device. This creates the capability to receive and distribute information simultaneously to strategically located control/monitoring devices for rapid response.

Helm Display

    The Majestic Display is custom designed to the specifications of your vessel including style, color and size of all gauges, graphs and meters. The Liquid Crystal Display has a resistive touch screen and allows for eight pages of user defined information without the requirement of a windows based PC. A transflective display is available for direct sunlight reading. The display is totally flexible and can easily accommodate additional points or changes in design.
