| A Note Of Interest: Maritron custom designed a complete refit for M/Y Canim's monitoring, bilge and fire detection systems. This included installing a computer, supporting hardware and controls in the forward wheelhouse to monitor data. Maritron installed and interfaced senders on all engines, generators, frequency, power and amperage from the ship's electrical system to the ship's computer monitoring system. New ship alarms were installed from stem to stern including hydraulics, water makers, bilge pumps run and alarms as well as pressure level sensors in fuel, water and black water tanks. A remote computer readout was mounted in the Captain's stateroom as well as alarm sounders (Sonalert) that were also placed in the wheelhouse. All work was done by Maritron at the vessel's location in Tortola, British Virgin Islands. |
